NCT ID NCT05539625
First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study planned to give children with mild-to-moderate ulcerative colitis either MitoQ (an antioxidant supplement) or a placebo for 24 weeks, alongside their usual treatment. The goal was to see if MitoQ could improve symptoms, reduce inflammation, and lower the need for steroids or stronger drugs. However, the study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available.
