Can a pill turn back the clock on aging arteries?
NCT ID NCT04851288
Summary
This study is testing whether a daily antioxidant supplement called MitoQ can improve the health and function of blood vessels in adults aged 60 and older. Researchers want to see if taking MitoQ for three months can help blood vessels relax and become less stiff, which are common problems with aging that increase the risk of heart disease. The goal is to find a safe, simple way to help control age-related decline in cardiovascular health.
