First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tested whether a combination of levocarnitine (an amino acid) and vitamin B complex could help lower high bilirubin levels caused by certain leukemia drugs. Ten adults with acute lymphoblastic leukemia who had elevated bilirubin after treatment with PEG-asparaginase or inotuzumab ozogamicin were enrolled. The goal was to see if these supplements could normalize or significantly reduce bilirubin within 11 days.
