First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tested whether a specially cut miswak (a natural chewing stick) removes dental plaque from children's teeth as effectively as a regular toothbrush. Eighty-two healthy kids aged 6 to 14 took part, and researchers measured plaque levels after using each tool. The goal was to see which method works better and what kids prefer.
