NCT ID NCT06558721
First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tested two rehabilitation methods—mirror therapy and a bike that uses mild electrical pulses to stimulate leg muscles—in 45 people who had a stroke within the past 6 months. The goal was to see which approach better improves leg movement, balance, and daily function. Participants received one of the two therapies alongside standard care, and their progress was measured using several physical and quality-of-life scales.
