Your own voice may be the best therapy for stroke speech loss

NCT ID NCT06829420

First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026

Summary

This study tests a new speech therapy for people who have trouble speaking after a stroke (aphasia). Instead of copying a therapist's voice, participants will practice speaking along with an AI-cloned version of their own voice using a mobile app at home. The goal is to see if this personalized approach helps them speak more words per minute compared to traditional methods.
