Bladder drug may calm deadly heart storms

Summary
This study tests whether mirabegron, a drug usually used for overactive bladder, can reduce dangerous heart rhythms in people with heart disease. Twenty adults with an implanted defibrillator and frequent ventricular tachycardia will take the drug for two months. Researchers will compare heart rhythm recordings before and after treatment to see if the drug lowers the number of episodes.
