Summary

This study was designed to see if a new type of airway device can prevent dangerous drops in oxygen levels during anesthesia in patients who are at high risk, such as those with obesity or sleep apnea. Researchers planned to compare the new device with standard ones in adults undergoing surgery at Stanford Hospital. However, the study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants.
