Summary

This study tested whether drinking natural carbonated mineral water for four weeks could improve digestion and change gut bacteria in adults with gastrointestinal discomfort. Thirty participants were randomly assigned to drink either the mineral water or a control water. Researchers measured changes in bowel habits, constipation symptoms, quality of life, and the types of bacteria in the gut.
