Summary

This study tested whether drinking a specific type of carbonated mineral water for four weeks could help improve digestion and change gut bacteria in people with ongoing stomach discomfort. Thirty adults were randomly assigned to drink either the mineral water or regular water. Researchers measured changes in bowel habits, stool consistency, quality of life, and the types of bacteria in the gut.
