Summary
This study tested whether a mindfulness and social-emotional learning program called MindUP could help reduce feelings of depression, anxiety, and stress in orphaned teenage boys living in institutions in Pakistan. The program involved structured weekly sessions over several weeks. Researchers compared the mental health of teens who did the program to those who continued with their usual orphanage activities.
