Summary
This study aimed to understand if an athlete's natural level of mindfulness helps protect them from mental fatigue. Researchers tested 90 athletes to see if those with higher mindfulness performed better on focus and endurance tasks after doing a mentally draining activity. The goal was to gather knowledge about the brain and body connection in sports, not to provide a treatment.
