NCT ID NCT07179172
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Aug 28, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study is testing whether an 8-week mindfulness program can help hospital staff and older adults sleep better and feel less depressed. Researchers will measure changes in sleep quality, depressive symptoms, and well-being using questionnaires and overnight sleep tests. The goal is to see if this low-cost, non-drug approach can improve mental health in these groups.

- What this could lead to
- If it works, this could point toward a simple, non-drug way to improve sleep and mood in stressed workers and older adults.
- What could go wrong
- This is a small, early-stage study with only 40 people, so results may not apply to everyone. The program requires a big time commitment, and benefits may vary.
