First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tested whether a mindfulness-based education program could help people with schizophrenia stick to their medication and feel more mindful. 40 stable outpatients were split into two groups: one received the mindfulness program, the other got usual care. Results showed improvements in mindfulness and medication adherence, which may reduce relapses and hospital stays.
