First seen Jan 02, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests a 4-week mindfulness program for new mothers (up to 12 months postpartum) who have an anxiety disorder. The goal is to see if it reduces anxiety, improves emotion regulation, and increases body awareness. Researchers will use questionnaires and brain scans to measure changes. If effective, this could offer a drug-free way to help mothers feel better.
