First seen May 09, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether brief mindfulness and identity-affirming exercises, delivered through a mobile app, can improve well-being and reduce mental health symptoms in LGBTQ youth experiencing housing instability. Two hundred participants aged 16-26 will be randomly assigned to either the mindfulness program or a neutral control activity. The goal is to see if the approach is feasible, acceptable, and shows early signs of helping.
