First seen Apr 22, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tests whether mindfulness-based stress reduction training can help pregnant teenagers and their partners feel less afraid of childbirth, strengthen parent-baby bonding, and improve breastfeeding success. About 54 teen couples will be randomly assigned to either the mindfulness program or standard care. The goal is to see if this simple, non-drug approach can ease anxiety and support healthy family connections.
