First seen Apr 22, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tests whether mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) training can reduce fear of childbirth and improve parent-baby bonding and breastfeeding success in pregnant teens (ages 15-19) and their partners. About 54 couples will be randomly assigned to MBSR or standard care. The goal is to see if learning mindfulness techniques helps young parents feel calmer and more connected.
