Can meditation calm the fears of parents waiting for their Child's scan results?

NCT ID NCT07420101

Summary

This study aims to see if caregivers of children with cancer experience 'scanxiety'—anxiety around medical imaging—and if so, whether a mindfulness program can help. Researchers will enroll 160 caregivers and offer some an online mindfulness course to manage stress. The goal is to provide a non-drug tool to ease the emotional burden on families during cancer treatment.
