Summary
This study developed and tested a mindfulness-based group program to help people quit smoking and reduce heavy alcohol use. It involved 67 adults who were motivated to make these changes. Researchers measured how practical and acceptable the program was, and collected early data on whether it helped participants stop smoking and drink less.
