Mindfulness and arm cuffs: a surprising duo to boost heart health?
NCT ID NCT07514624
First seen Apr 14, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a simple, non-invasive technique (briefly restricting blood flow to the arm) combined with mindfulness therapy can improve blood flow to the heart in people whose coronary arteries were not fully opened. About 480 adults with coronary artery disease and ongoing chest pain will be randomly assigned to receive this combination or a sham treatment. The goal is to see if these approaches can help the heart work better without more invasive procedures.
