Can a phone app ease the fear and stress of advanced cancer?
NCT ID NCT04788095
Summary
This study is testing whether a mindfulness app is a practical tool to help patients cope with the emotional burden of advanced kidney cancer. It involves 21 participants with metastatic disease who use the app for 20-30 minutes a day, at least 4 days a week, for 4 weeks. The main goal is to see if the app is easy to use and if it can help reduce anxiety, fear of cancer returning, and fatigue while improving overall quality of life.
