First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study looked at whether an 8-week mindfulness program, done remotely via an app, can improve quality of life, pain, and mood in 128 adults aged 18-45 after hip preservation surgery. Participants were randomly assigned to either the mindfulness training or a control group. The goal was to see if mindfulness could ease anxiety, depression, and physical symptoms during recovery.
