Summary
This study tested whether mindfully paying attention to pain sensations can help people with chronic pain feel better. 300 adults with chronic pain for at least 6 months participated. They learned to focus on their pain in a new way, aiming to reduce pain intensity, increase their sense of control, and improve quality of life.
