Can walking and mindfulness break the chronic pain cycle?

NCT ID NCT06119698

Summary

This study is testing whether a 10-week program combining gentle walking with mind-body skills (like breathing exercises and mindfulness) can help older adults with chronic musculoskeletal pain move better and feel better. The program, called GetActive+, is being compared to usual medical care. Researchers will measure changes in physical function, pain levels, and emotional well-being in 200 participants over 6 months.
