Summary
This study aimed to understand the connection between mental health and the body's immune system. Researchers measured stress, resilience, and childhood experiences in 700 Slovak adults, including some in treatment for alcohol addiction, and tested their blood for immune markers. The goal was to see if a person's psychological state is linked to their biological immune function.
