New sensor aims to catch IV leaks early

Summary

This study tests a special sensor (ivWatch Model 400) that watches for fluid leaking from an IV into the surrounding tissue. 28 healthy adults will have a small amount of saline injected under the skin to see if the sensor correctly detects the leak. The goal is to see if the device is safe and accurate at spotting these leaks.
