NCT ID NCT07311733
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 26, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests a special sensor (ivWatch Model 400) that monitors for fluid leaking from an IV into the surrounding tissue. 28 healthy adults will have a small amount of salt water injected under the skin to mimic a leak, and the sensor's alerts will be checked. The goal is to see if the device can reliably detect these leaks, which could help prevent complications in patients receiving IV therapy.
