Head-to-Head: which pill stops migraine pain faster?
NCT ID NCT05211154
Summary
This study aimed to see if a common painkiller (diclofenac potassium) works as well as a newer migraine drug (rimegepant) at stopping migraine pain within two hours. It involved 300 adults with migraine who treated a single attack. The study was open-label, meaning participants knew which medication they were taking, and it was terminated before completion.
