First seen Jan 23, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study followed 100 adults with migraine who received a nerve treatment called pulsed radiofrequency to the back of the head. Researchers measured changes in pain sensitivity and migraine-related disability over 3 months. The goal was to learn how the treatment might affect the brain's pain processing, not to test a new cure.
