Summary
This study looks at whether a natural brain chemical called PACAP-38 can bring on migraine aura (like visual disturbances) in people who already get migraines with aura. 21 adults with a history of migraine with aura will receive either PACAP-38 or a placebo. Researchers will watch for 12 hours to see if aura or headache occurs. The goal is to better understand what causes migraine aura, not to test a treatment.
