This study looked at whether a melt form of two sedative drugs (midazolam and ketamine) works as well as IV sedation for keeping people comfortable during cataract surgery. Over 1,100 patients aged 55-80 took part, and researchers measured sedation levels and pain during the procedure. The goal was to see if the melt could offer a needle-free option for sedation.
