Scientists probe tiny Molecule's link to leg pain and walking trouble
NCT ID NCT04089943
Summary
This study aimed to understand how a molecule called microRNA-210 relates to stress in the body and walking problems in people with peripheral artery disease (PAD). Researchers studied 230 people, including 180 PAD patients undergoing a leg artery procedure and 50 healthy individuals. They collected muscle samples and measured walking ability to see if this molecule could be a future target for treatments.
