Summary

This study tested whether giving small cash grants and peer mentoring can ease psychological distress in transgender adults who are struggling financially. 360 participants were split into three groups: one got a single grant, another got monthly grants, and a third got monthly grants plus peer support. The goal was to see if financial help and community connection could improve mental well-being.
