First seen Nov 10, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests whether a therapy that combines motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy, delivered partly by smartphone, can help homeless veterans with serious mental illness feel more connected to their community. Fifty veterans will be randomly assigned to receive either this therapy or a mindfulness program. The goal is to see if the approach is practical and well-liked, not yet to prove it works.
