First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests a new way to grow cord blood stem cells in the lab before transplanting them into people with high-risk blood cancers. The goal is to help the body rebuild healthy blood cells faster after high-dose chemotherapy. About 22 adults and children up to age 55 are taking part. The treatment is given once, but patients may need long-term follow-up care.
