New study aims to unlock genetic secrets of liver cancer spread

Summary
This study looks at genetic changes in people with colorectal cancer that has spread only to the liver and cannot be removed by surgery. Researchers want to understand why this happens and how liver transplants might help. They will follow 35 patients for up to 5 years to see how long they live and if the cancer comes back.
