NCT ID NCT07352293
First seen Jan 24, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding a 6-month course of methotrexate improves the results of a skin cell transplant (NCES) for adults with stable vitiligo on elbows and knees that hasn't responded to standard treatments. Twenty participants will be split into two groups: one gets methotrexate before and after the transplant, the other gets the transplant alone. Both groups also receive light therapy (PUVA) three times a week for three months after the procedure. The main goal is to see how much skin color returns.
