Summary

This study tests whether adding metformin, a common diabetes medicine, to standard care can reduce pain and improve function in people with knee osteoarthritis. About 70 adults aged 30 to 60 with moderate knee arthritis will take metformin or a placebo alongside their usual treatments. The main goal is to see if pain scores drop more with metformin.
