Summary
This study looked at whether metformin, a common diabetes drug, can affect aging markers in 112 prediabetic adults from North India. Participants took metformin or a placebo for six months. Researchers measured telomere length and activity of longevity-related genes to see if metformin might slow aging at a cellular level.
