Diabetes drug metformin tested as Anti-Aging treatment in prediabetic indians

This study looked at whether metformin, a drug used for diabetes, can affect signs of aging in people with prediabetes. Researchers measured changes in telomere length and activity of longevity-related genes in 112 North Indian adults over six months. The goal was to see if metformin might slow aging at a cellular level, not to treat or cure any disease.
