New hope for colorectal cancer? trial of A140 plus chemotherapy cut short
NCT ID NCT03426371
First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested whether adding a drug called A140 to standard chemotherapy (mFOLFOX6) helps people with a specific type of advanced colorectal cancer (RAS wild-type) live longer without the disease getting worse. The trial planned to enroll 570 people in China but was stopped early after only 52 participants. The goal was to see if the combination delays cancer growth or improves survival, but results are limited due to early termination.
