First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study looked at whether chemicals in the blood (metabolomics) can help diagnose obstructive sleep apnea and show if treatment with a CPAP machine is working. Researchers studied 388 adults with and without sleep apnea. They collected blood samples and tracked CPAP use to see if certain blood patterns relate to sleep quality and daytime sleepiness.
