First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study follows about 4,300 adults with early-stage chronic liver disease to see how metabolic problems like obesity, diabetes, and high cholesterol affect their condition. Participants get regular check-ups and imaging scans for up to 5 years, but no experimental treatments are given. The goal is to better predict who will develop serious liver complications and find new ways to personalize care.
