Summary
This study aims to understand why metabolism slows down during weight loss, a phenomenon called metabolic adaptation. Researchers will measure body composition, core temperature, and energy use in 10 adults with obesity (BMI 30 or higher) during an 8-week weight-loss camp. The goal is to find ways to make weight loss more effective by targeting these metabolic changes.
