Summary
This study tested a monthly injection of mepolizumab (100 mg) versus placebo in 95 adults with severe asthma, nasal polyps, and aspirin sensitivity. The goal was to see if the drug could improve sinus symptoms, shrink nasal polyps, and reduce the need for other medications. Results focused on symptom scores and polyp size after 16 weeks of treatment.
