This study looked at whether a mentoring program helps new graduate nurses adjust to their first job. 56 new nurses were split into two groups: one got a one-month mentoring program, the other got standard training. Researchers measured their reality shock, clinical adaptation, and professional skills before, after, and three months later. The goal was to see if mentoring makes the transition smoother and improves competence.
