First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated Jun 23, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study looks at how menthol flavor in e-cigarettes affects young users' nicotine dependence, puffing habits, and exposure to harmful chemicals. Researchers will have 250 participants aged 21-35 use both menthol and tobacco-flavored e-cigarettes in lab sessions. The goal is to provide evidence for the FDA on whether menthol should be regulated to reduce e-cigarette harm.
