Researchers test loophole products that could undermine cigarette bans
NCT ID NCT07092501
Summary
This study aims to understand how menthol cigarette smokers react to flavor accessories when regular menthol cigarettes are unavailable, as some areas have banned them. Researchers will have 23 adult menthol smokers try non-menthol cigarettes with various add-ons like crush balls and filter tips in a lab. They will rate their liking and simulate purchases to see if these accessories could keep people smoking after bans.
