Researchers test loophole products that could undermine menthol bans

NCT ID NCT07092501

Summary

This study aims to understand how menthol cigarette smokers react to flavor accessories (like crush balls or filter tips) that can be added to regular cigarettes. Researchers will have 23 participants try different products in a lab and rate their liking and ease of use. The goal is to see if these accessories could keep people smoking after menthol cigarette bans take effect.
